Internship Experience

During fall semester of 2023, I had the privilege of working at La Terraza del Cristina as a Marketing Intern. This company, located in Seville, Spain, is a company that delivers unique and authentic gastronomy experiences for tourists including paella show cooking experiences, sangria tastings, and wine and tapas tastings. During their experience, customers are able to enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the rooftop. This company aims to provide memorable food and beverage experiences to tourists who also want to learn more about the rich history and culture of Spain.

My role in the company was to manage bookings on our different platforms, capture and create content for our social media accounts, and creatively design new promotional materials (including flyers, business cards, and logos). I worked under my supervisor, Antonio Sanguino, and alongside 3 other American interns. To be successful in this role, I had to be dedicated, diligent, creative, and pay attention to detail. My job allowed me to be creative and interact with customers and was beneficial to the company because I helped manage the bookings we get everyday as well as bring new ideas and creativity to the table.
